Polar Bear Plunge
The Polar Bear Plunge is Saturday, January 30, 2010. You need to have raised at least $50 by January 15th in order for us to benefit from the incentive of having a team with the prerequisite amount of plungers to get a heated tent on the beach. We now need all those who signed up to have a minimum of $50 in contributions. So if you or your friends are on the Rugby Plungers of Maryland plunge team, please do what you can to get to $50.
We are excited to announce the first ever Battle of Baltimore will kickoff on Saturday, February 27, 2010. The four college teams will be Towson University, UMBC, Loyola and JHU. There will also be four high school teams: Poly, North Bay U19, Loyola and Eleanor Roosevelt. This is an exciting time for Rugby in Baltimore. This event will be an excellent recruiting tool for us as well as the premier college rugby event in the area. More details will be released soon.
